Your Credit

 Sonoma County Home Loans

Knowing the status of your credit is a first step in preparing to get a loan.  Since lending banks will base their decision on your credit report, it is important to know what credit reporting says about you.  Often times there are inaccuracies on reports and only you can confirm and correct this information.

A credit report not only tells a lender what your repayment patterns are on past debt, but details the amount of minimum payments you incur each month on current debt.  The report also tells the lender if there are any outstanding liens or judgments against you on public record.  These may need to be resolved prior to applying for a loan.

For a FREE analysis of your credit, call for an appointment.  Together we will review your credit report and create a credit score improvement plan and time table.  Credit reports are current for 90 days.

Credit repair services that charge a fee to repair your credit cannot provide you with anything that you cannot do on your own for free with guidance.

Scores can range from 350 to 850.  Most lending programs need a minimum FICO score of 620.  The best rates are enjoyed by scores of 740 and higher for conventional lending.
